Here I am on my way to Bratislava, Slovakia. I take two high-speed trains and 1 bus to get from Paris to Bratislava where I will Continue reading »
I saw this over a pub in Brussels, Belgium and it’s just perfect. Enjoy this Monday and make sure to try as much of the beer as possible when you go to Belgium! 🙂

Here, I’ll show you the easiest way to avoid paying ATM feels while you travel abroad. This is a great tip because it allows you to feel comfortable using any ATM from a big bank abroad without having to worry about paying $5 or more per transaction.
This is the tip I use to save a lot of money and I hope it can help you too!
Note that you should still try and use big-bank ATM’s to help avoid potential issues with absurd exchange rates.
Know of any other ways to avoid ATM fees while abroad? Let me know in the comments below!
I’m on my way back to Paris for some more action! It seems like I just can’t have a ‘normal’ experience there; or, maybe, this is the normal Parisian experience…
I go for a wonderful Parisian type breakfast, not just a croissant and coffee, the best ice cream/gelato that I have ever had, a Parisian dinner party, and craziness at the Eiffel Tower.
Let me know what you think! 🙂
Mostar, Bosnia is famous only for its oddly shaped super steep bridge. This was my first experience with Bosnia and, to be honest, I was terrified of going here. But, thankfully, this damn famous bridge was bringing enough tourists to the city that I thought it would be a good start for venturing into Bosnia, which, as someone who saw the fighting on tv as a child, scared me (it no longer does).
You will see that the city is really beautiful, by day and especially by night. I will also show you some of the food that I had there, which includes a portion that they swore was for only one person but should have been for 4, the big portions of America have nothing on this place! The other thing is a piece of Burek, which you will see more of in my videos from the Balkans.
In addition to this, I will show you remnants form the war, which are literally everywhere!
I also want to mention that I met some amazing people in Bosnia and I never felt any less safe here than I did in many cities in Western Europe.

Walking through the old streets of Bruges, Belgium, avoiding the horses and the clamor of the noisy tourists and old people who have to yell to understand each other, I stumbled upon this courtyard inside of an old convent. The moment that you enter this place, everything goes quiet and you feel as though you are in another world – a better world; a more peaceful and loving world.
It is hard to describe how peaceful and tranquil this place makes you feel; it was like a little piece of heaven in the middle of a busy city.

Late but still here 🙂
This photo is of a bombed-out church that I explored while I was in Bosnia. It’s on top of a giant hill/mountain and from there you could also see old fortifications on the top of each neighboring mountain/giant hill.
This is recent history and we should never forget just how easy it is for seemingly calm and civil nations to devolve into war (think of Ukraine today).

A perfect moment with a perfect view…
Bled is a wonderful and beautiful jewel in the country of Slovenia. Come in fall and you will see beautiful colors with a backdrop of the Julian Alps. Come in summer and you can swim in the lake and do all sorts of outdoors activities in the surrounding country side. This is definitely somewhere I will visit again!
